  • Mandy...oh good times!

So Mandy and I were driving somwhere today.  I was in the driving seat and she was next to me.  The Light turns green and the person in front of the car in front of me doesn't move.  No reason, just complete incompotence.  So, like a good Californian, I lay on my horn.  Mandy looks at me like I've just slapped her and the following conversation takes place:

Mandy: "What the hell is wrong with you?!"

Me (smiling): "The guy is a blind douchebag who can't drive a car!  The guy in front of me should be honkling too, but he isn't!"

Mandy: "Yeah, because people here are OKLA-FUCKING-NICE!!"

    A Day at the Zoo

So we went to the San Diego Zoo a couple days ago.  We saw all kinda of animals from Eagles,
to Rhinos, from Leaflephants to Ligers.  Well, we didn't really see a liger, but we did see a
genetic cross between an elephant and a leaf:

We also had the privledge of seeing a monkey that had BLUE BALLS.  No, really.  It's
scrotum was BLUE.  To add Insult to injury, he proceeded to "entertain" himself, so to
speak, while we were there.  Oh yeah, it was a show alright.  I got video and was giving my
commentary.  The Monkey Finished, so I finished my commentary.  I came out of my
directors world to see parents all around me giving me scowls.

We went and saw the Pandas.  They really wern't much to watch, but the baby was cool.
He was just chillin' in a tree, hanging by his head.  Talented Panda.

When we were leaving the Panda Exhibit, there was a mural about 9 feet high and a good
80 yards long.  As we walk past it, Mandy says to me, "Ya know...this is the San Diego
Zoo.  You think they could hire an artist who does a good job instead of hiring someone to
do this impressionistic stuff.  I mean honestly, it looks like a 3rd grader painted this."  I
    laughed at her contempt.

When we reached the end of the Mural, there was a list of Artists :
    Amy Cohen - Age 8
    Zach Miller - Age12
    Jeff Jones - Age 9
    =)

I've been listening to country music more now that I'm married and my dearly beloved is an
avid fan.  In the interest of saving a horse, I was looking for a cowboy at the zoo.  However, there arn't many Cowboys in San Diego, so I had to settle for a bear.
